A man from Las Vegas, Vincent Bailey (25), was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for sex-trafficking a 16-year-old girl.
Prosecutors say Bailey recruited the teen via Instagram, then trafficked her through multiple cities: first around Las Vegas, then to Los Angeles, and finally to San Diego between June 25 and July 15, 2024.
The victim was “branded” with a tattoo under her eye — matching one Bailey had — a tactic prosecutors say is used by traffickers to mark control over their victims.
Bailey was arrested on October 1, 2024, during a traffic stop. Another missing minor was reportedly found in his vehicle at the time.
In addition to the prison sentence, the court ordered him to pay $7,000 in restitution to the victim.
